White Water Rankings

About

The National Ranking Series is a grass-roots whitewater slalom series created to encourage competitive Slalom racing on a National level. The race consists of approximately three races per region plus a National series and the U.S. Nationals. The scoring system is simple: a racer’s score is equal to the number of people that they beat in their class (plus themselves). The racers are allowed to count their best four races. There are some special rules in this first year of the rankings.  Note that our algorythm may change in the coming months or for next year so please stay current with these rules if you are curious.

The Races in this 2009's series are:

Northeast

Mid-Atlantic

SouthEast

Midwest

Southwest

Mountain

West Coast

Northwest

THE NATIONAL SERIES

THE U.S. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS AT THE USNWC

Note:  The winner of the rankings series is the athlete in the lead--based on all results turned in to that point on that day.  Athletes may ask to not be counted but this decision is binding if the athlete has not been re-included by the time of the awards.
